Tony Sianni has been teaching the electric bass since 1987. He has a degree from the University of Delaware, and studied electric bass, guitar, and piano, primarily with Mal Malinowski (Mal's Music).
Tony has worked as a performer, studio musician, composer, arranger, and teacher. He has played hundreds of venues on the East coast, and has opened for Kool & the Gang, Chuck Berry, Kansas, The Guess Who, The Fixx, and .38 Special.
After playing in a variety of Delaware and Philadelphia based-groups, he focuses now on studio work and teaching, which he genuinely enjoys. Tony has also been the bass guitar instructor at Neumann University since 2002.
Tony teaches all levels and styles of music, with students from age 8-70+. He's known for his friendly rapport with students of all backgrounds. Many of his students have continued on to pursue music degrees, record original music, tour in support of national acts, and become private instructors themselves.
